Wave Designs are available in: SINGLE VISION for distance vision until mid forties age when bifocals are usually needed.  BIFOCAL designs provide simultaneous distance and near vision without reading glasses.  ASTIGMATISM designs that duplicates the different curvatures on the the cornea surface.  The fit is unsurpassed.  Other lenses offer a "get as close as we can" approach.  KERATOCONUS & POST REFRACTIVE SURGERY designs are the most challenging and benefit the most from this custom "match the cornea" design philosophy.  

 Z-WAVE  technology also allows us to make corneal molding lenses that correct for Myopia while your sleep. (no contact lenses needed during waking hours).  This is a reversible, non-surgical therapeutic procedure for temporary vision correction that allows most patients to go all day without glasses and see near 20/20.  We have found that with our patients on the program more than three years, the myopia has either stopped progressing or nearly stopped changing.   Refer to the CANDY Study  (link button on the left).
